Frequently asked questions
We require that the final payment be made in full prior to the completion of delivery to your new premises. In the event that this payment is not procured, we shall endeavor to deliver the remaining articles on the subsequent day, under the prerequisite that the due invoice has been settled. If the payment remains outstanding, we must withdraw our responsibility for the custody of your possessions.
Should your original location be in close vicinity to your new premises, we shall revert and unload all items at the pick-up location. However, if it exceeds a distance of 5 kilometers, the unloading will occur at a neutral area within a 1000-meter radius of your destination.
You will be notified of this location, and our personnel will oversee your items for a duration of 45 minutes. If your presence is not recorded within this time frame, we regret to inform that your belongings will be left at the mentioned location unsupervised.
In order to keep our prices competitive and affordable for our customers, we've chosen to only accept cash payments at this time.
We understand that many customers may prefer to pay with credit cards or other forms of payment, but as a small local business, we've found that credit card processing fees can be quite expensive.
This also allows us to receive payment immediately and avoid any payment processing delays, ensuring a smoother process for everyone.
Thank you for your understanding.
Price varies with every move. Some moves are more complex and require more time than others.
Price of a move will vary on the following factors:
- The size of your home and the number of rooms
- The number of floors at each location
- Accessibility to your home.
- The number of movers. More movers does not necessarily mean a higher total cost! Sometimes going with a team of 3 or 4 movers will save you time and money.
- The distance between your departure address and your destination
For a more precise estimate feel free to contact one of our experts and we would love to give you a free quote for your upcoming move.
Okay, let's settle this once and for all: do you tip your movers or not?
While it's not mandatory, it's a great way to show your appreciation for their hard work and excellent service.
Its like adding extra cheese to your pizza - it just makes everything better! 😁
If you appreciated their hard work and excellent service, we encourage you to tip whatever you feel is necessary for the job that was completed. Trust us, your movers will be very grateful.
Ever wondered about the mysterious travel time charge on your moving bill? Allow us to explain!
This is the additional time (usually 1 hour for local moves) that covers our movers' travel time from our warehouse to your location and back after the move. Think of it as the time it takes for our team to get to your doorstep and back to ours. For long-distance or off-island moves, travel time is calculated based on the distance traveled.
So don't worry, we won't charge you for our commute to work, but we do appreciate your understanding of this important aspect of the moving process.
Let's make it clear, renting a truck could save you a couple of bucks, but maybe less than you think.
Renting a truck allows you to save solely on the labor. However, you must consider other expenses, such as insurance, gas, rental fees, and even late and cleaning fees. Additionally, you'll have to do all the loading yourself, which can be challenging and time-consuming, potentially taking days to complete the move. You're also responsible for any damages to the truck, and if you've never driven one, it's best to leave it to the professionals.
On the other hand, hiring movers provides a simple and stress-free moving experience for two main reasons:
We handle everything from start to finish, including properly protecting your belongings, loading and unloading, and transportation. 🚛
You don't have to worry about additional costs such as gas, insurance, and equipment. 👍🏻
